Okay, everyone, mark your calendars because there has been some very exciting news. Nothing, a company known for its innovative transparent designs and amazing glowing Glyph lights, has revealed the date of their upcoming major release: the Nothing Phone 3!
That’s right, the Nothing Phone 3 is officially slated to launch in July 2025.
There isn’t a precise date yet, but this essentially supports what Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing, has been telling us. He had alluded to a July, August, or September release in Q3 2025, and it appears that they are sticking to their customary summer launch window, as they did with the Phone (1) and Phone (2). So mark July on your calendars!
What’s the Buzz? (Rumors & Hopes!)
Nothing is currently keeping anything extremely secret, but the rumors have been swirling, and these are some of the things we’re hearing could happen with the Phone (3):
- An Experience with a “True Flagship” Carl Pei has been promoting this as their “first true flagship smartphone.” Therefore, we anticipate a very high-end gadget with all the bells and whistles.
- Huge Power Under the Hood: Prepare yourself for an incredible processor! A top-tier Snapdragon chip, most likely the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or even the soon-to-be Snapdragon 8 Elite, is what we’re looking at. For anything you throw at it, expect lightning-fast performance.
- Camera Glow-Up: This is a significant one! A significant camera upgrade is rumored, possibly involving a triple camera arrangement and possibly a periscope telephoto lens for amazing zoom action. Bid farewell to hazy distant photos!
- Glyph Interface, Developed: It is anticipated that the iconic transparent back and LED lights will become even more impressive. Imagine even more interactive ways to use the Glyph and new customization options. A “dot-matrix”-style display on the back is even mentioned in some whispers; how awesome would that be?
- Days on a battery? I hope! A larger battery than the previous one—possibly over 5,000mAh—is being discussed, which would allow you to chat, game, and scroll for even longer.
- Expect the Phone (3) to be packed with intelligent AI features, such as “Circle-to-Search” and a useful built-in AI assistant to make your life easier.
- Premium Price Tag: Given all of these improvements, it’s reasonable to assume that the Phone (3) will cost more than earlier Nothing phones. It wants to compete with the industry leaders in high-end smartphones.
