Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra – May 1, 2025 – CMF by Nothing has officially launched its latest smartphone in India, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, marking a significant upgrade from its predecessor. The device, announced on April 28, 2025, aims to deliver a premium experience without breaking the bank, featuring a sleek design, a capable triple-camera system, and the latest Android 15 operating system.  

The CMF Phone 2 Pro sports a refined design, being the slimmest phone from Nothing to date at just 7.8mm thin and weighing 185g. It comes in four stylish colors: White, Black, Orange, and Light Green, with the Black and Light Green variants featuring a frosted glass-like back and metallic frame. The Orange and White options showcase a dual-tone design. Notably, the device retains a modular element with visible screws, hinting at potential future accessories. It also boasts an IP54 rating for water resistance, an improvement over the CMF Phone 1.  

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G chipset, promising a 10% faster CPU and a 5% improvement in graphics compared to the previous model. Paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB (expandable up to 2TB via microSD), the CMF Phone 2 Pro is equipped for smooth multitasking and ample storage. A 5,000mAh battery ensures long-lasting power, supported by 33W fast wired charging. Notably, a charger and protective case will be included in the box for Indian customers.  

Photography is a key focus with the CMF Phone 2 Pro, featuring a triple-camera setup: a 50MP primary wide-angle lens (with the largest sensor in its segment, capturing significantly more light than the CMF Phone 1), a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom (up to 20x digital zoom), and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The front-facing camera is a 16MP shooter. The phone supports up to 4K video recording.

One of the standout features is the inclusion of Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.2, with the promise of three major Android updates and six years of security patches. The device also introduces the AI-powered “Essential Space,” accessible via an additional “Essential Key” on the side, allowing users to quickly save and organize voice notes, screenshots, and text notes, with potential AI-driven smart organization.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be available for purchase starting May 5, 2025, via Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Vijay Sales, Croma, and other leading retail stores. The pricing for the base 8GB + 128GB variant is ₹18,999, while the 8GB + 256GB option is priced at ₹20,999. As a special introductory offer, customers can avail a ₹1,000 discount on launch day, bringing the starting price down to ₹17,999. Additionally, there will be first-day exchange bonuses and bank offers.  

Alongside the phone, CMF by Nothing also launched the CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2 Plus, and CMF Buds 2a, expanding their audio product lineup.
